Baby not burping after feeding and fussy?

I babysit my friends baby, he is two months old now, today he would not burp after either feeding(three while i had him) and only slept a total of an hour between 630am and 1230pm. he has been extremely fussy and im here with her now and he still is. We thought maybe colic but not sure. its her first and im about to have my first so we are still learning. he is farting alot but thats it. what could be wrong?
