Car fan problem, after i picked it up at the shop?

So i was involved in an accident a few day back and a had an appointment from the dealer about fixing my door locks, free of charge if i bring it back when the parts came. The accident was after i already set up the appointment. On the day of pick up I go to turn my AC on and there this loud clicking noise and i go look and my radiator fan is hitting the the metal around it. I'm not dumb when it comes to cars, and I noticed the I only had one factory fan in it the other isn't even made for my Honda Civic 2003. Weather it was like that or not when i bought the car, I cant remember. The guy at the shop told me it must have dented in the accident but i didn't have ANY problem getting to the shop. He was got to charge me to look at it. I ended unplugging the one and going to go get fix at Lynch since there fixing my car anyway from the accident. Any opinions?!!
