FL Studio 10 problem?

I just got FL Studio 10 and everything about it works fine except for the browser area. i can not hear any sound when i click one of the sample noises and its not until i drag it onto the pattern area or somewhere else that it plays. i do have the asio4all v2 audio driver but it has yet to work for the browser where i should just be able to click once and hear the sound. sometimes there is a faint tapping sound when i try to play the sample clips but no actual sound; i can even see the fruity limiter and master monitor moving with the sound but nothing comes out. my settings are all correct i am running on windows 7, 64 bit and looked up online how to set up all of the audio drivers but it hasnt helped. any help is appreciated this is great software just one really annoying issue.
