Marines dep discharge?

I signed the dep contract and everything and maybe a month before my ship date, even tho i wanted to go its best for my family if i join the airforce. Its been about 3 or 4 months since i requested a discharge and since my ship date and i still have not recieved a letter and now i cant support my family like i need to. What can or should i do to get the discharge letter and if i never get it how do i know if im out of the dep. Is there a way to find out.
