The Spurs' tough defense is back (10 points)?

It seems like every year this team is under the radar, during the regular season of the 4 champioships, this team has always cruised under the radar. And this year is no different, but just remember before you write this team off; after they lost to the Mavs in 2006; the following season everyone thought that was the end of the Spurs. Going into the 2007 season; teams like the Suns, Mavs, and the Heat were suppose to be the teams taking over the torch. What happened? The Spurs won the 2007 NBA finals, why? Defense; as the season gets deeper, it seems as if their defense is back on track. I'm not saying they're winning the Finals this year but this is the only team in the west that can challenge the Lakers.
