Does mitosis occur within the female ovaries?

My Biology professor posed this question to our cl for extra credit. The question was does mitosis occur in women within their ovaries if women are born with all the eggs they will ever need for menstruation and to create offspring. Since mitosis is the dividing of cells and women have all of their eggs before they are born do women undergo mitosis?
