3 girls made me cry ;(?

Okay so this is how it goes... I attended my math cl as normal and I was just getting on with my work. But these three girls who I have never really got on with in this cl started to be really mean to me all at once! By calling me all sorts of awful names from across the table. They was saying stuff like I look like a girl because I have long hair and that I should cut my hair off. The teacher just said "leave the lad alone don't be mean" But they kept calling me. After about 15 minutes of being called names I couldn't take it any more and basically just run out of the cl room and broke down crying in the corridor. But now all the people in my cl think I'm a "softy". Do you think I over reacted or not?
